TanQ Works (pronounced “Tank Works”) is a full service tantalum repair business located in Rochester, New York. Founded in 2006 by Keith and Kathy Quintana, TanQ Works is making custom repairs for customers and independent service contractors directly.
With over 30 years in the tantalum repair industry for glass lined vessels, Keith Quintana is an industry expert.
In 1988 he began fabricating tantalum repairs for a glassed lined tanks— introducing new techniques and styles of repairs.
In 1992 he was hired by a glass tank manufacturer out of Rochester, NY to manufacture all the tantalum repairs for their glass vessels. In addition to the repairs, he also trained the service technicians on how to install tantalum repairs on site.
